  • Should multiple spirals of Fire Spinners and flashes red. This is the only time he is vulnerable.
    • he becomes vulnerable after exactly 20 seconds.
    • when he is vulnerable he will say:
      "Foolish whelps, leave me be!"
      or
      "I must gather my strength!"

Tips:

Killer Pillar: If you do not kill atleast one Killer Pillar, the Blobombs will no spawn. This helps a ton if cooperation can be held and people do not kill the last pillar (therefore setting off a ton of bombs and letting them spawn)

Blobombs: Can cause instant death for any robe or leather class, like the Rock Dragon's Rock Bats. The best way to get rid of them is to run up to them as they activate and then run away when they start flashing.

Assassin: The simplest way to defeat the Avatar, a gang of Assassins can sit on the edge of the Avatar area and throw poisons to land right as the Avatar becomes vulnerable (flashing red). It will take a while, but it's almost completely safe, at least until the Blobomb phase starts.

Knight: Your Shields have not much use, the boss is invulnerable to stun but the extra defense gives you an advantage over the other classes against the Blobombs.

Warrior: The helm's boost is the Warrior's key to help you if you can properly use it during the spiraling phase and for plain running when he changed phases, Helm of the Juggernaut helps in most phases of this particular boss.

Archer: Your Quivers for this boss won't help much but the Archer's range and high DPS with the Doom Bow is something to keep in handy.

Wizard: Using off-centered camera, you can easily throw in some cheap spell bombs without putting yourself in any real danger. Stay back until you see the boss flashing red, and then walk a little closer to him and spellbomb like mad.
