Crimson Soul Shards spawn from the various eggs scattered around Pyyr’s arena during certain phases. They attempt to chase down and circle players while firing single fire shots at them.
If Pyyr is the final dragon challenged, they will fire the shots of the third dragon slain instead of their normal fire bullets.

Several of these will spawn during the 1st and 3rd phases of the Pyyr fight. The best strategy is to run around the ring a few times until they are all gathered in to one big pack. Take care not to get hit by the green shots along the way (assuming you are on hard mode or have done Limoz first), as they inflict Sick. After they are all gathered, lay your fire on them and they should die soon enough.
