During April Fool events, along with resprites and renaming of enemies, some equipment items also receive a temporary change.
This can be a change of name, description, sprite, and even in some cases stats. These are humorous and often self-referential, poking fun at the item, or the game community in some way.
At the end of the event the changes are reverted back to the standard item, so the April Fool versions do not “exist” in the sense of reskinned equipment as something possible to obtain and keep as a standalone item.
