Upon use, the Gift of Krathan will throw out four “rings” of “gifts” from its spawned location. The innermost ring contains Keys, and moving further outward they contain class items, ST sets, and miscellaneous items respectively.
Most of the gifts drop more than 8 items, making them drop two bags upon dying. They can all be killed in a single hit.
The drops of the gifts have not been updated since Patch X.26.0.0 (May 2018), though this section will still use the term “all” for brevity.
If a gift is not hit within thirty seconds of being spawned, it will automatically vanish without dropping its loot.
This ring’s gifts use the sprites of keys, and drop keys or items related to them.
It is also the only ring to simply lay out the gifts in two straight lines, rather than align them to a circle.

“Oryx Key (right)” - Keys to Oryx’s Castle, Oryx’s Chamber, Oryx Chicken Chamber, Wine Cellar, Wine Cellar Short, and The Machine, along with a Wine Cellar Permakey, Realm Closer, Godlands Teleporter, Ice Cave Permakey, Inner Sanctum Permakey, and a Heroic Undead Lair Incantation with five uses available
Note that the key sprites are identical to the sprites used for Testing Keys, with the exception of the “Golden Key” which uses the Testing Gift sprite.
This ring’s gifts are what the item’s description is referring to. They appear as all 15 classes’ default skins facing to the right. Claiming a class will make the others disappear.
Upon choosing a class, four gifts will appear in the center of the ring, forming a line. They appear as the Tier 13 Weapon, Tier 6 Ability, and Tier 14 Armor of the class that was chosen, along with a Ring of the Pyramid. For some classes, these gifts may throw out other gifts to the top or bottom of themselves containing additional items. These “extra gifts” may overlap with the inner ring’s gifts.
“Weapon” - Tier 12 and 13 weapons of the displayed type, along with all useful Untiered items.
“Ability” - All tiered abilities of the displayed type, along with all useful Untiered items.
“Armor” - Tier 13 and 14 armors of the displayed type, along with all useful Untiered items.
“Lower Weapon” - All Reskin and Vanity items of the displayed type.
“Upper Weapon” - All Tiered items of the displayed type.
“Ring” - All eight Unbound rings, all three Tomb rings, all three Shatters rings, Ring of Decades, and an Experimental Ring
“Lower Ring” - Omnipotence Ring, Sourcestone, Bloodshed Ring, Magical Lodestone, Fairy Ring, Crystallised Mist
“Lower Ring” uses the Omnipotence Ring’s sprite and will always be spawned.
“Lower Weapon” uses the class’ Battle for the Nexus weapon as its sprite. “Upper Weapon” uses the class’ Tier 0 weapon sprite. For unknown reasons, neither will spawn for Staff or Sword classes.
The “Weapon” gift for Sword classes drops the Def Test Sword.
The “Gift of Krathan” itself, appearing as a Coral Gift on the ground, will remain until a class is selected and then vanish upon throwing out the four equipment gifts.
This ring’s gifts appear as one of the ST sets from each class. Upon being destroyed, all other “ST gifts” will vanish, and the one selected will drop one copy of each ST set for the respective class.
This ring’s gifts contain anything that wouldn’t fit in the other rings. It is not a complete circle, instead taking up roughly a 120° angle below the starting point.
“Mark of Stheno” - Marks of the Snake Pit, Sprite World, Undead Lair, Abyss of Demons, Toxic Sewers, Mad Lab, Puppet Master’s Theatre, Haunted Cemetery, and Manor of the Immortals, an Egg Omelette, and six Standard Quest Chests.
“Mark of Thessal” - Marks of the Ocean Trench, Tomb of the Ancients, Mountain Temple, Ice Cave, Oryx the Mad God, Janus the Doorwarden, Lair of Draconis, The Shatters, Deadwater Docks, Woodland Labyrinth, The Crawling Depths, The Nest, Davy Jones’ Locker, and three Mighty Quest Chests.
“Eggs”
All egg gifts provide one egg of each rarity per family. As there are no Divine eggs, this results in four eggs dropping per pet family.
Exotic - Canine, Feline, Avian, and Exotic eggs.
Insect - Farm, Woodland, Reptile, and Insect eggs.
Humanoid - Penguin, Aquatic, Spooky, and Humanoid eggs.
Mystery - Automaton, ????, and Mystery eggs, plus four Fame Chickens.
“Chest” - Loot Tier Potion, Loot Drop Potion, XP Booster, XP Booster 20 min, XP Booster 1 hr, five Health Potions, six Magic Potions
“Purple Drake Egg” - Purple Drake Egg, White Drake Egg, Blue Drake Egg, Yellow Drake Egg, Orange Drake Egg, Green Drake Egg, Pirate Rum, Ghost Pirate Rum, Holy Water, Magic Mushroom, Pollen Powder, Snake Oil, Speed Sprout, Bottled Honey, Royal Jelly, Gravel
“Tincture of Dexterity” - Tinctures and Effusions of Dexterity, Life, Mana, and Defense, Rock Candy, Small Firecracker, Large Firecracker, and Blue, Purple, Yellow, Green, and Red Gumballs.
“Sand Pail (lower)” - Sand Pail with five uses, all four Beach Party Madness Drinks, Lucky Clover, St. Paddy’s Brew, Totally a White Bag, Wooden Box, Transformation Potion, Candy Corn, and all four Testing Guild Hall Keys
“Sand Pail (upper)” - One Suspicious Milk Bottle.
“Candy of Life” - Candies of Extreme Dexterity, Attack, Speed, Defense, Vitality, Wisdom, Mana, and Life, and a Potion of Max level with five uses.
The Gift of Krathan was accidentally used in the Nexus of a production server on September 23, 2021 by DECA admin SiennaSky. This allowed a handful of players to recieve items typically reserved only for admin use, and presumably debugging. Items obtained from this event have been removed according to the DECA update immediately following the event. Items confirmed to have been obtained, for however brief, included Guild Hall Keys, Realm Closers, Testosterone, Godlands Teleporters, and Creator’s Rings though others may have also dropped.
