Stheno Pets can be found in the Snake Pit, circling the boss while trying to shoot you. they are rather difficult enemies for anyone soloing a Snake Pit.

While Stheno is alive, this enemy will circle around her, shooting at the closest player.
After Stheno is dead, the Stheno Pet will stop and wander around the tile it was on when Stheno was defeated. However, it will continue to shoot projectiles at the closest player.

During the battle with Stheno, it is better to focus on her as opposed to attempting to kill the Stheno Pets, as these respawn after one is killed.
As a Mystic it is recommended to freeze these enemies so it is easier to focus on the boss.
