Class DPS (Rev. 30)

This page is designed to compare and rank all 18 Classes from highest to lowest DPS (damage per second). This only takes into account weapon choice. See below for more details.

Methodology:

1. Classes were tested on Hazzor’s DPS Calculator (mirror) with a maxed class with no equipment, abilities, or buffs. This can severely impact many classes, such as Wizard (who deals damage via ability) and Warrior (who gets Berserk through ability).
2. This assumes that all shots fired hit. Many weapons are difficult to aim.
3. This assumes DPS against a single target. Many weapons can hit multiple targets, which can increase true DPS significantly.

Practical Weapons DPS Rank per Class

All classes, from the highest to lowest DPS, with the best and/or most commonly used weapons. This excludes “impractical” weapons like the Staff of Extreme Prejudice, as they are impractical to use against most bosses. Some weapons, like the Lumiaire, can be difficult to use, so alternatives are included.

Weapons are sorted from highest to lowest at 0 Defense. This chart also includes numbers are 75 defense (Exalted Oryx 3, the highest DEF of an armor break immune target).
