Warmonger Shatters Bow Projectile Rarely brandished and in pristine condition, the old monarchy deemed this exquisite recurve too dignified for all but royalty to handle. Though it remains unproven in practical combat, this bow’s raw potential is unmatched, waiting to be drawn out through pure focus.

At first glance, this bow can be seen as a stronger Coral Bow aside from the very slightly lower projectile speed, as its DPS surpasses every bow except the Predator Bow. Warmonger will do more DPS than the Void Bow until ~48/38 DEF and the Harmonius Harp until ~61/48 DEF. Once you go into combat however, the bow becomes weak enough that even the Leaf Bow will deal more DPS at all levels of DEF.

Even so, the aforementioned Leaf Bow has slightly less range and a significantly slower projectile speed, along with the inability to pierce. Warmonger’s arc gap between its shots is small enough to the point that you can make use of the full range, making it on par with the Bergenia Bow in terms of range. This makes the bow extremely versatile because you can use it for crowd control as well as single target DPS at a safe distance.

An interesting thing to note is that using this bow along with the Exalted God’s Horn at 90% HP or above will only gain a DEX increase from the Horn and not the DEX decrease from the proc (so for example, with Horn you will gain +10 DEX instead of -5 DEX as expected if this bow’s DEX decrease applied correctly), despite both the DEX increase and decrease showing on the player’s status effects. This allows players to use this bow somewhat more effectively, since there is essentially no downside to the proc. It is unknown if this is a bug, however.

This bow’s effect of reducing Dexterity could be influenced from the scrapped Ancient Doom Bow, as that bow would have given the player Yellow Swirl Dazed after taking enough damage.
