Notes
The strongest tiered staff, making it the definitive end-game equip on any staff class. While a few UT staves can outdamage it in certain situations, this staff combines high damage, high range, and ease of use.

On a Wizard with no buffs or equips:

  • The T14 staff beats the T14 Spellblade of the Everlasting Death until > 33 DEF, and the Mechanical Kogbold Limb until > 41 DEF. Spellblades have less range, but a straight shot. The Kogbold Limb has more range but a slower firerate.
  • The T14 staff loses against Superior until > 50 DEF, though Superior has less range.
  • The T14 staff loses against the Crystallized Worm Spellblade at all DEF levels. However, this spellblade has an awkward shot pattern, which makes it harder to hit.

History
In Exalt Version 1.0.0.0 (July 2020), the item was released as a drop from Oryx the Mad God 3, along with the other T14 weapons, T7 abilities, and T15 armor.

Before Exalt Version 2.3.0.0 (Mar 2022), this item had a 7% XP bonus.

Trivia
For many years, the T14 staff was an unreleased item not obtainable by players. Some staves were spawned in production by exploiters in November 2012, but they were deleted alongside other unreleased items.

In Patch X.16.0 (Aug 2017), the staff and projectile sprites were changed to black squares to reflect the item’s status as unreleased.

The Realm Eye says:
Inconceivable that a mortal would know of the Staff of the Fundamental Core. Very well, I shall tell you what I know.
The fundamental core is a mysterious, highly debated entity, one whose presence is beyond my vision. What little is known of it is as a result of the very staff you mentioned.
Astralmancers speculate it is the origin point of the universe and is creating new matter at all times. This staff may very well come from a pillar of some unknown material that extends across light years.
