The Steam Serpent is a segmented enemy found within the Kogbold Steamworks.

The Steam Serpent always spawns with an invincible head, 5 body segments, and a tail. Its head shoots spreads of fire bullets, its body segments fire aimed water shots, and the tail periodically shoots a spiral of fireballs. The Serpent will follow players, becoming faster and more aggressive as it loses body parts.
When all of its body segments are destroyed, the head becomes vulnerable and 
Armored, and starts trying to circle players while firing rapid rings of fire and water shots. Rarely, instead of attacking, the Serpent’s head will flash before exploding into a harmless ring of wavy water bullets.
