This guy’s shotgun deals a whopping 150 - 161 damage (capping at 43 DEF) over the course of 23 shots, he shoots it twice before the 3 sec cooldown kicks in, and the Henchman it protects will never hesitate to drag you into it with the confusarang. Concentrate your fire onto it on sight.

Wanders around until a player approaches, upon which it will lunge at them and fire a massive shotgun of 23 bullets at them. It has a several second cooldown between shotguns and lunges.

Try to keep away from it, as the Henchmen of Oryx can confuse you, making you run right into the Abomination.
Make sure to sidestep its lunge, as it will inflict immense damage and possibly kill you if they unload the full shotgun into your character.
Take advantage of their cooldown time to either kill them or run past them.
