The Cavecrawler Leech always spawns with eight body segments and one head segment. It initially chases players, its head firing aimed red bullets while its body segments fire smaller white shots at nearby players. The head cannot be harmed until the entire body is dead.
Once it’s body is destroyed, the head becomes Armored and vulnerable after a short delay. It then chases players, rapidly firing white bullets at them.

As this is the weakest out of all cavecrawlers, it’s ok if you tank a few shots; as it only shoots one at a time.
