The Maggots will wander around, occasionally firing a White Bullet shot in the direction of the player.

After precisely 10 seconds, the Maggot will turn into a
Fat Bee Fat Bee.

For players with low experience and weak characters, or new players it is recommended to keep their characters at a distance while fighting the maggots because with low defense and low health a player can be easily killed by the swarm of maggots.
Even if you aren’t very weak, the intermittent slowness caused by maggots can unexpectedly modify your moving trajectory, leaving you vulnerable to other attacks.
Make sure to kill maggots quickly before they spawn Fat Bees. The Fat Bees spawned by maggots do not give any XP, so if you’re trying to level up/gain a bit more fame it is still best to kill maggots before they change.
