Water Elemental appears during Daichi’s first phase, firing slowing shots from the bottom left corner of Daichi’s Room. During one of the next four phases, Daichi will appear in the bottom left corner and send Water Elemental to the center of the room. During this phase Water Elemental will alternate between two radial attack patterns while Daichi’s Soulblasts swarm the outer edges of the room. Once Water Elemental takes enough damage it will retreat toward Daichi and revolve around him, firing shots close to him. Once Daichi takes enough damage Water Elemental will be defeated and Daichi will proceed to his next phase.

Water Elemental’s attacks are not that difficult to dodge for ranged characters. Melee characters with decent defense can deal a lot of damage to Water Elemental by getting close and tanking some of the weaker shots. Abilities which spawn a stationary object, such as Marble Seal, Tome of the Mushroom Tribe, Genesis Spell, and Mace of the Celestial Forest are very effective against Water Elemental while it is stationary. Wizards may also be able to hit multiple shots of their Spell bursts without much difficulty. Daichi’s Soulblasts are the main threat during this phase, as they ignore defense and may attack by surprise, so players should not spend much time near the wall while they are active.
