A good tip is to NOT stand diagonally from the Abyss Idol, as the big bullets he shoot diagonally paralyze you, if you get paralyzed while in lava you may not have enough time to react and nexus.

Usually after you kill the Idol, a path will spawn so players can exit out of the treasure room. Sometimes though, a path will not spawn but instead just pure lava. This indicates that there is another treasure room somewhere in the dungeon. Triple the loot!

Another tip - If you think you cannot kill the Abyss Idol than kill Malphas, then go back to the troom and try.
