Stat Increase Potions

Stat Increase Potions (or Stat Pots for short) are consumables that permanently raise a specific character stat. The increase will be lost with death and will not carry over to other characters. Drinking a potion will have no effect when that stat is maxed, and the potion will not be consumed.

When they drop from enemies, all the stat potions are soulbound to a dark blue bag with golden lacing. The pots themselves are not soulbound, and are used as the primary in-game trading currency.

Most dungeon bosses and event bosses guarantee at least one stat pot. A boss with a guaranteed pot will drop it to a random player who achieved soulbound damage on the boss. In addition, certain stat potions (attack, defense, speed) are uncommon drops from gods, which are found in the Mountains.

There are six “basic” stats (Attack, Defense, Speed, Dexterity, Vitality, and Wisdom) and two “advanced” stats (Life/HP and Mana/MP). Potions for the basic stats are generally easier to come by and worth less than potions for advanced stats. The colloquial term Rainbow Potions/Pots refer to random potions for the basic stats. Many enemies can drop one random “Rainbow” potion, which will be denoted as “Stat Increase Potions” on the drop table for their pages.

Stat Potions are not directly buyable with Realm Gold, although some potions have previously been used as “filler” rewards from certain Mystery Boxes. Stat Potions can be obtained for free from the Login Seer and free packages during special events. All potions obtained via these methods are soulbound to prevent major effects on the player-run economy.

Additionally, The Tinkerer’s Scout Quest grants two Stat Potions in exchange for a mark from a specific Godlands dungeon. The type of Potion is the same as the ‘main’ potion of that dungeon (e.g. a Mark of Stheno will grant two Speed Potions). Unlike previously mentioned methods, these Potions are tradable.

Notes: Soulbound potions are indicated with a corked potion sprite. They are obtained from Mystery Stat Pots, the Login Seer, Event Chests, and some special event packages.

Notes: When used, will be converted to a random soulbound stat potion.

Greater Stat Increase Potions

Greater Stat Increase Potions provide double the stat increase of a standard potion.

Greater Stat Potions were initially planned to be available as a Tinkerer quest reward, and the Greater Potion of Wisdom was available for one day through this method, however the quest was quickly removed due to negative feedback. Further information is available on the archived official forums. Due to the its rarity at the time, the Greater Potion of Wisdom was often traded for items worth much more than the 2 Wisdom its consumption would provide.

In Patch X.15.1.0, the Greater Potion of Dexterity drops from the Killer Bee Queen, the boss of The Nest.

In Patch X.31.6.0, the Greater Potion of Wisdom drops from Heroic Septavius the Ghost God, the boss of the Heroic Undead Lair, the heroic (more difficult) version of the Undead Lair.

In Patch X.31.7.4, the Greater Potions of Attack, Defense, and Vitality were added as drops in the Heroic Abyss of Demons.

In Patch X.31.9.0, the Greater Potion of Speed, alongside the other greater ‘rainbow’ potions were added as drops in the Fungal and Crystal Cavern.

In Patch X.32.2.0, the Greater Potions of Life and Mana became available through Potion Fusion quests at The Tinkerer. These quests require three standard stat potions in exchange for one respective greater potion. All six Greater Stat Potions were added as a possible drop from the six Epic Quest Chests, and rarely from Mighty Quest Chests.

In Exalt Version 1.0.0.0 (July 2020), Greater Potions of Life/Mana were added as drops from the bosses of Oryx’s Sanctuary.

Stat Candies

Stat Candies instantly max the designated stat when used. They were introduced for Halloween 2017, and the Wisdom and Dexterity candies would be awarded for free if the playerbase spent over 10 and 20 million fame in a week, respectively. The playerbase far surpassed the goal and spent over 97 million fame. As a result, the Speed and Vitality candies were also awarded to all players in a free package.

In the December 2017 Login Calendar, players could receive a Candy of each stat excluding Life and Mana if they were to log in on the 5th (Vitality), 8th (Wisdom), 12th (Speed), 17th (Dexterity), 21st (Attack), and 24th (Defense) consecutive day.

The Stat Candies made a return during Halloween 2018, where they were rewards obtainable from turning in Halloween Candies to the Tinkerer. 25 Candies could be turned in for a Candy of Extreme Speed/Wisdom/Vitality, 50 could be turned in for a Candy of Extreme Attack/Defense/Dexterity, and 100 could be turned in for a Candy of Extreme Life/Mana.

All Stat Candies are soulbound and have 500 Feed Power, making them okay pet food if the player chooses not to use them to max stats. Like Dungeon Keys, candies can only be used if the player has at least 10 stars.
