Notes:
When used, the Valentine Generator spawns a small heart which follows the player around. The heart uses the following sprite but is scaled smaller in-game:
The heart will follow the player while slowly bobbing up and down. Entering any portal will despawn the heart requiring the generator to be used again.
Valentine Generators can be traded.
History:
The Valentine Generator used to function the same as the original pets, whereby the heart could be spawned from the generator within a player’s vault, and it would remain continually assigned to the character until the player actively despawned it, or the character died. However when the current functional pets were brought in, it became necessary to carry the generator around since entering any portal would now erase the pet from following you.
They were initially available on Valentines’ Day 2012, and were made available again for the Player Appreciation Event in 2014.
