Realm of the Mad God introduced Character Skins in the ‘Backpack Build’, or 6.0.0. These skins are tied to various classes and remain unlocked even after death on a character. To use a skin, the player must first unlock the skin and then select it when creating a new character (or at the wardrobe in the player’s vault).
Skins may be unlocked through various methods, such as purchasing for Realm Gold when creating a new character or at the wardrobe. Other skins can be obtained as drops from certain enemies, in Mystery Boxes, through packages, trading with other players, or promotional events.
