Tips and Strategies

After the death of each boss in The Shatters or The Lair of Shaitan, a Test Chest will spawn, holding the potential loot for all who managed to survive the fight. It has extremely high health and a low soulbound threshold, so all who succeeded in each boss fight should have a fair chance at attaining loot.

In each boss room of The Shatters, the chest will spawn in differing locations.

  • After the fight with The Forgotten Sentinel, it will spawn roughly in the middle of the room.
  • After the fight with the Twilight Archmage, it will spawn near the exit of the room. (the side opposite from the entrance)
  • After the fight with The Forgotten King, it will spawn directly over the red carpet tile towards the back of the room.
  • After the fight with Shaitan the Advisor,it will spawn in the center of the room, behind the hot lava.

If you are the only warrior or paladin and want loot, it is recommended to self-buff, though it is much harder to do on a paladin because he has a much larger buff range and does not get speedy once he buffs. (Though mystic buffs, he can only self-buff. But be careful not to stasis the test chest because your buff will run out before the chest comes unstatised. Also try not to curse the chest when you are playing with high damaging classes [Archer w/ dbow and warriors] because they will benefit more from the curse)

If you want loot on a wizard, mystic, or necromancer, you should equip the staff of extreme prejudice and sit on the test chest .

If you want loot on a class with a damaging ability (Includes archer, wizard, knight, assassin, necromancer, huntress, sorcerer, and ninja), an easy way to get extreme damage in is to spam your mp pots while spamming space bar.

The most useless classes for test chest is priest and rogue because of their low damage, low max stats, and a ability that does not do damage.
