    Tips and Strategies

    The Hobbit Mage is comparable to a walking landmine. His attacks have very short range, but fire in a ring around himself that; should all connect, will deal massive damage if you have 0 DEF.

    If you have 9 or more DEF, standing on him is basically harmless.

    Defeating this foe is easy, simply keep your distance and fire upon him. Melees need to be a bit more careful, but their armor should mitigate the damage.

    The hobbit mages minions serve primarily to annoy you or take shots, so you are best served to focus all attacks on the mage itself to prevent further spawns.
