Longbows are a subtype weapon used by bow-wielding classes: Archers, Huntresses and Bards.
Longbows are more accurate as you get further away, as their shots start offset but converge as they travel. Unlike contemporary weapons like the Sword of the Colossus, Longbows do not have a set max range, so they continue to true even with the 
Inspired buff.
Tiered longbows all fire 3 shots, have a range of 7.04, use burst firing, and unlike normal bows, do not pierce.
The rate of fire for the tiered bows is complicated, consisting of an intra-burst rate of fire of 92%, 96% and 100% for the three respective projectiles, which causes a slight desync. After the fourth burst there is a flat delay before any projectile can fire again of approximately 0.58 - 0.62 seconds. This flat delay resyncs the three projectiles. The exact delay is based on dexterity, with the delay being the highest at approximately 30 dex with a ~0.62 second delay, decreasing slightly to ~0.58 at 50 dex (more testing required for higher dex values). The delay also decreases significantly as dex decreases below 30, being ~0.53 seconds at 20 dex and 0.43 at 15 dex. At and below 12 dex the flat delay is so low and the rate of fire is so low that the Longbows stop behaving in a burst fire.
This has the effect of making the Longbows scale very poorly with dexterity. They have better dps than tiered bows below approximately 50 dex. They also maintain this dps at max range unlike tiered bows.
