This robe has +15 DEF, giving it 2 more DEF than the T13 Robe of the Grand Sorcerer, with an additional +25 HP and +7 VIT. These all give the wearer some very powerful defensive bonuses, while sacrificing any attack. It thus serves a defensive role, much like the Soulless Robe. It shines on Priest and Mystic or even Sorcerer, occasionally over Soulless due to those classes WIS modifiers.
All this being said: the T14 Robe of the Star Mother almost usurps this in every way, trading the VIT and relatively small HP for +40 MP and +5 ATK. This robe is tradable and drops from an easier dungeon, though once Star Mother was also made tradable (and affordable), this robe lost much of its niche.
History
This item used to drop in a cyan bag before the addition of orange bags in Patch X.18.0 (Oct 2017) Halloween Madness.
Before Patch X.33.1.0 (May 2020), this item had a Feed Power of 435.
