Behavior (Dungeon and Realm)

If a dungeon has the “Syndicate Takeover II” modifier, then Izel will spawn after the dungeon’s boss is defeated and initiate a special battle after several seconds. During Realm events, he will instead spawn after a certain number of Heroes of Oryx have been defeated.

Phase 1

Izel circles the middle of the room and fires walls of lightning shots at the player. Periodically, he will raise his staff and alternate between one of two moves:

  • Throws out a blue bolt that explodes on impact and summons three blue thunderbolts around itself in a triangle pattern, which rapidly pulse Slowing AoEs for several seconds.
  • Briefly goes invulnerable and generates an AoE burst, summoning several blue thunderbolts around himself and a yellow one beneath himself. He then lunges at the player, repeating the attack after a lunge.
Phase 2

Izel stands still and shoots out a 2-way barrage of armor piercing bullets that rotates clockwise.
