This guide is mainly for players who are not experienced in Pet Player Experience and want to try a first attempt on it.
Wands have the longest range of any weapon in the game. This allows them to keep a safe distance from the enemy and land hits without getting into the danger zone. Their main weakness is their fragile defense. Being a robe class, these guys are very squishy and can struggle in dungeons where head-on assaults are common like Abyss of Demons .
With an ability to heal, the priest is an okay class with a bad pet, but is sadly not so good with a good divine pet, due to that the pet’s extreme healing renders the priest’s ability useless unless he has a puri or prot. The useless ability and terrible DPS the priest also has cripples it’s power to fight enemies. But however, if you manage to get ahold of a puri or prot, the priest is a different story. The priest can tank an absurd amount of damage and rush the hardest of dungeons with ease with a prot, and can steer clear of effects that can lead to your death with puri. Unfortunately, due to these items being hard to obtain in PPEs, this makes the priest very challenging to attempt, but is overpowered when you succeed in getting at least a prot.
Sorcerer has higher DPS than the priest, having both higher damage stats and the scepter that can deal high damage. Sorcerers can settle near a boss and bombard it with it’s high range and damaging scepter without going in the danger zone; they can even be great at head-on assaults if you manage to get a fulmi. Sorcerers are a great class to PPE with, as the a good pet can both replenish any huge damage inflicted upon his fragile health and his MP, allowing the sorcerer to continuous bomb enemies.
Huntresses are exactly the same as Archers, except that her ability is a trap, which takes 1.5 seconds to land and can inflict slow and damage. The ability can be considered useless for some players and prefer to not use one at all, while others rely on it. The trap is useful attacking “out of reach” enemies, and as well crippling deadly tomb bosses by using good timing, or even nerf the forgotten king in shatters. The huntress is still a great class to PPE on, and is sometimes considered a great challenge depending on your view on the trap.
Staff classes in general have a higher damage output than the wand classes in terms of their weapons, which makes it easier for them to rack up kills and qualify for soulbound loot.
The infamous “glass cannon” of the game, Wizards are one of the best classes to PPE on, due to their maximum DPS allowing the player to nuke bosses and get quicker and better drops. Their only weakness is their fragile defense, which is made up with his extreme offense and high range and their tediousness to max, with the wizard requiring not only a lot of attack, but also a lot of dex and mana making the wizard tedious but very fun and easy to PPE on.
The Necromancer, like the priest, is a healing class, but has the ability to steal health from enemies. Like the priest, a good pet can cripple the necromancer by rendering the ability useless, except for being able to deal a little bit of damage to “out of reach” enemies. This class is not recommended for PPEs.
The Mystic uses strategy to control the battle, having the ability to completely disable enemies for awhile. The mystic can abuse her stasising ability and utterly rush dungeons like if it was cake. Any unmaxed player with mystic experience can easily rush to bosses and grind down on the potions in minutes, making the mystic easy to 6/8 or even 7/8 on and is great for beginners to PPE on.
Some of the greatest fellows are the sword classes, having high defense and dealing high damage. Their only weakness is their range.
By far the easiest and best class to PPE on. By level 20, the knight should have enough defense from both his armor and shield to farm godlands and wreck house. Once the knight maxes his def (which by the way is actually easy to max compared to other classes), he becomes a pure tank and can charge at enemies will little worry and stun them to death. Their high def and vit requirement to max is actually great, because it allows the knight to go for better loot and the rare demon dlade that drops in abysses. Moreover, the knight is also known for his extremely short amount of attack required to max, preventing the tedious task of grinding down manors and puppets. Once, maxed, the knight has almost no disadvantages, and is the best class of PPE on.
The squishiest of the melees, the warrior is a pure offensive class and can deliver the highest dps of all the classes when using his spd/dex boosting helm. His main weakness is his bad range and low defense from the start, and is also very tedious to max, having a high attack cap. Once a warrior is fully maxed, he becomes overpowered like the knight and can also wreck house anywhere anytime. This class is great on PPEs for players who love to spice up some challenges. The safest of the melees when fresh and unmaxed, the paladin can both heal and boost his damage using his seal. Even with having very low defense at level 20, his regen ability can help him reduce damage inflicted on him faster, and as well boost his damage using his damaging ability. He is also very easy to max, with only wis being this difficult stat to max, which can be easily overcome with lots of udl and lab farming. Paladins are a great class for PPEs, especially for those with terrible pets.
Dagger classes are known for their speed. They are extremely tedious to max on spd and dex, but is well worth it if you survive the farming. They are also very good soloists, allowing you to rely less on other people while farming dungeons.
The rouge is also one of the best classes for PPEs, because of their invisibility allowing them to strike enemies unseen. He is able to pass through difficult parts in dungeons quickly and safely. But like all dagger classes, spd and dex are very tedious to max, with both having a 75 cap.
