Notes
The end-game “jack of all trades, master of none” dagger. While lacking in DPS compared to other choices, this dagger’s versatile nature allows it to excel in situations where range and accuracy matters the most.

History
For many years, the T14 dagger was an unreleased item not obtainable by players (with one famous exception).

In February 2012, the Wild Shadow developer Willem offered any weapon or armor to the person who could most help with rebalancing Oryx’s Castle, which suffered from being too easy to rush. For a video of a warrior rush, Willem named BMJ the winner. BMJ asked for and was granted a T14 dagger, which remains the only time that an item was ever awarded on production before its release, and in fact, the only “legal” acquisition of an (at the time) unreleased item in production.

That November, an exploit was discovered that could turn an HP potion into any item, and more daggers were spawned into production. All unreleased items were subsequently wiped, including BMJ’s dagger.
