Notes
The Vesture’s most striking feature is its +15 ATT whenever the uses activates their ability, for an absurd total of +20 attack. As the cooldown is as long as the duration, there’s a potential 100% uptime (though note that the robe currently seems to be bugged, behaving as though the proc has no cooldown). While a robe class seemingly doesn’t want to lose even more of their measly defense, their long range can compensate, and most players tend to use this robe in endgame content - where a handful of shots will kill regardless of the DEF loss. This robe also has less MP and no WIS, but the damage more than makes up for it.
Compared to its closest existing relative, the Water Dragon Silk Robe, the Vesture of Duality sacrifices 1 ATT, 1 DEF, 5 VIT, and the healing reactive proc for 4 SPD and 40 MP. However, provided that this robe’s proc is active, the Vesture blows all other competition out of the water.
Abilities that boost DEF, namely Lutes, will counteract the defense decrease. A T7 lute will provide a net +2 DEF buff, in addition to the on-equip defense stat.
