Notes
The Vesture’s most striking feature is an absurd +20 ATT, largely stemming from the +15 ATT whenever the user activates their ability. The cooldown is as long as the duration, for a potential 100% update (note: seems to be bugged, having no effective cooldown). Robe classes don’t want to lose even more defense, but their long range compensates. And most players tend to use this robe in endgame content - where a handful of shots will kill regardless of the DEF loss. This robe also has less MP and no WIS, but the damage more than makes up for it. Finally, the sublime +10 SPD helps with naturally slow classes like the Wizard.

Compared to its closest existing relative, the Water Dragon Silk Robe, the Vesture of Duality sacrifices 1 ATT, 1 DEF, 5 VIT, and the healing reactive proc for 4 SPD and 40 MP. However, provided that this robe’s proc is active, the Vesture blows all other competition out of the water.

Abilities that boost DEF, namely Lutes, will counteract the defense decrease. A T7 lute will provide a net +2 DEF buff, in addition to its on-equip defense stat.
