This katana shoots a constant single bullet straight in front of the player, with two three-bullet bursts with an arc starting at 90° and 270°, true ending at the end of the range.

The shots also ending at the end of the range, rather than intersecting in the middle, or having a sine wave pattern like other wavy shots in the game mean, while the true range is far for this katana, the sub attack is impossible to hit for enemies closer than that max range.

Without the dual bursts of the sub attack, it’s main attack rivals the DPS of the Jewel Eye Katana, getting easily outclassed by other katanas. However, if the sub attack is landed on a single-target enemy, it will add around 900 damage for every burst, resulting in an extra ~450 DPS on a maxed dexterity character, outdamaging Kusanagi, assuming all shots land.

While this means the weapon has a high damage potential if all shots hit, outdamaging the Kusanagi with more than half a tile more range, and even outdoing the Enforcer with more range. However, the tiered katanas may offer more consistant damage, along with the tiered katanas providing piercing.
