This mace is currently the only one to ignore the defense of its target, making it a solid choice for cracking high-DEF enemies that would normally shrug off other summons. While its total base damage is higher than many other maces, the steeds’ reliance on hitting all their (individually weaker) shots crimps its DPS somewhat, especially against enemies with low DEF that would generally take more damage from other maces.
