The best way to kill it would be to have a long ranged class, like Priest or Wizard and try to follow it with your attack.
Also Rogues can be very effective against Swarm as their invisibility power stops the monster from circling you.
Archers and Huntresses are also favored. Their pierce and their spread allows them to demolish the swarm quickly.
