The developers eventually changed it after players disagreed with it. Seen in Testing Server Build 122.2.1 then removed in Testing 122.3.1. |

Test Chest Bosses in certain dungeons, such as The Puppet Master’s Theatre, the original Lair of Draconis, the original Ice Cave, The Shatters, the original Lair of Shaitan, Belladonna’s Garden, and the Ice Tomb used to drop a loot chest when defeated. When destroyed, this chest would have a chance of dropping loot in place of dropping directly from the defeated boss. All permanent Test Chests have been removed as of release X32.4.1, and these bosses now directly drop loot. |
