Due to the high MP cost of this spell, it is best used as a swapout for large groups of enemies rather than single bosses, because of the spammability of st pierce and eledet. For high def enemies, it might be better than eledet given that it only shoots 5 high damage projectiles instead of 20 lower damage projectiles.
