The Original game mode (also known as Legacy) is the standard way to play Realm of the Mad God on the production servers. Unless otherwise indicated, articles on this wiki refer to content from this mode.
Pressing Play in the home screen directs the player to their character selection on Original mode, unless a RIFTS season is active, in which case the player is prompted to choose a mode.
Original mode has existed in its current form since February 14, 2010, when accounts began to be saved server-side.
