This armor is similar to the Hirejou Tenne in that it sacrifices much of its DEF for a hefty increase in damage. The base damage stats are less than that of the Tenne, which provides +8 ATT/DEX. However, the Centaur’s Shielding is more potent than the Tenne when the user is inflicted with Red Cross Healing, most commonly in group situations where Paladins or Priests are common. Even in the absence of an external Healing class, this item synergizes with the Ballistic Star ability from the same themed set. When used, the star inflicts Healing on the user for 4 seconds. The limitation is that only Ninjas can equip the Ballistic Star; other leather armor classes will require an external source of Healing for this item to reach its maximum potential.
