Notes
Part of the Cuboid Necromancer Set.

This odd “skull” is unique in the sense that it neither heals nor does direct damage. Instead, it summons a Decaying Cube minion that follows the player and zaps enemies for very high damage, although its damage will gradually decrease as it nears the end of its lifetime.

Despite the decaying damage, the Cube deals massive damage and has a low chance of missing hits because of how frequently the bursts come out - it can deal up to 3,250 damage in a single use. Like the Demon Lord’s Skull, it has no cooldown nor limit on how many minions it can summon, allowing Necromancers with high max MP and MP recovery to amass an army of Decaying Cubes to deal very high DPS.

Compared to said skull’s minions, the Cubic Frame deals slightly less damage, has a higher MP cost, and has shorter-lived minions, but the Decaying Cubes’ more frequent damage bursts and lack of reliance on chance to be spawned make them more consistent.

The Cubic Frame pays for all of this with the aforementioned inability to deal direct damage nor heal the player, as well as a high MP cost and no HP bonus on equip (although it does give a good DEF bonus to compensate). It would be ill-advised to use this ability in situations that call for survivability.

The Decaying Cube has the following sprite:
