Notes
Often abbreviated to “QoT”, the Quiver of Thunder does not pierce and has a higher mana cost compared to other quivers, but is one of only two ways to chain-Daze enemies. The Brain of the Golem, as a 7-second decoy placed on you, is too impractical in most situations where you’d want Daze. Dazed works differently when applied to enemies; this quiver halves the number of shots from an enemy (rounded down, min. 1), but the Dazed that players experience reduces their Dexterity to 0 for the time being.
It is prized for enemies in higher-tier gameplay, namely those immune to Paralyze or Stun. This quiver is also useful for enemies who are stationary or slow-moving, such as the Killer Bee Queen, or The Puppet Master. Note that truly ‘endgame’ bosses are often immune to the Dazed status.
History
The Quiver of Thunder dropped in the Ocean Trench dungeon during the Event Chest Weekend Reloaded (2016-09-18 to 2016-09-20).
Before Patch X.33.1.0 (May 2020), this item had a Feed Power of 800.
Before Exalt Version 1.1.0.0 (Sep 2020), this item dazed for 4 seconds and had a cooldown of 6 seconds.
