This odd “skull” is unique in the sense that it neither heals nor does direct damage. Instead, it summons a Decaying Cube minion that follows the player and zaps enemies for very high damage, although its damage will gradually decrease as it nears the end of its lifetime. It also provides no HP bonus unlike most other skulls, but does give a good DEF boost to compensate.
Despite the decaying damage, the summoned Cubes deal massive damage and have a low chance of missing hits because of how frequently the bursts come out - a single Cube can deal up to 3,250 damage over its lifetime.
