Notes
Compared to other swords, Divinity’s initial DPS is comparable to that of the Ancient Stone Sword - with an identical rate of fire and range but lower average damage. Divinity’s advantage over ASS and other swords comes with its Exalted Beams, serving to extend the sword’s range (effective 6.25 tiles,) and the unique ability to hit through walls and deal AOE damage, but only at its full range. Furthermore, the Exalted Beams scale with Damaging and the player’s ATT values.

While sporting a somewhat lackluster raw DPS, taking into account its Exalted Beams, its long-term DPS shines. Over a span of 7 seconds, a Warrior would deal around 20,212 damage to a target with a T12 sword, and would deal 21,700 damage to a target with Divinity over the same time-frame. On-top of that, due to the armor-piercing effect of Divinity and its ability to scale with the Damaging buff, at higher defenses Divinity becomes even more effective.
In addition, its piercing capabilities on top of the Exalted Beams allows it to be a very strong crowd cleaner - a role the sword classes otherwise struggle with.

Because DEX and Berserk do not increase the fire rate of the Exalted Beams, this sword synergizes best with ATT bonuses (and Damaging) to increase the damage per beam instead.

Divinity is always better than a T12/13 sword, overtakes a T14 sword at 59 defense, and outdamages the Sword of the Colossus at 109 defense.

It is worth taking into account that this is without the berserk buff. When used in conjunction with berserk buff, since it does not scale with attack speed, its DPS falls a considerable bit. When used with berserk it is always beaten by a t13/t14 sword, overtakes a T12 sword at 64 defense, and overtakes a t11 sword at 9 defense.

Also, since it does not scale with dexterity, items that give dexterity make tiered weapons more viable. On a warrior with divinity, mercys bane, and a crown, its DPS is comparable to a T9 sword.

With its healthy range and huge damage, this sword can wreak havoc on enemies once its quirks are mastered.

It is also to be noted that Divinity and the other pieces of the exalted knight set were the first items to give an 8% fame bonus before the MotMG 2020 fame rework.
