Notes
Divinity is an apt name for this sword. If one looks at only the sword itself, it’s surprisingly unexceptional - quite similar to a weaker Ancient Stone Sword with added piercing abilities, having a low rate of fire but powerful longer-ranged shots. However, its Celestial Strength effect will strike targets with AoE beams every 1.4 seconds, dealing huge armor-piercing damage.

These beams are extremely powerful. Not only can they be fired very frequently, unlike most procs the damage of the beams scales with your ATT and status effects like Damaging, allowing the user to hit staggering damage values if their ATT is high. In addition, not only does their high AoE armor-piercing damage allow the weapon to both deal heavy damage to bosses and clear out mobs of enemies, it also serves to extend the sword’s range (giving Divinity an effective 6.25 range) while allowing it to hit over walls/cover due to being a “thrown” projectile. Note, however, that the beam spawns at a fixed 4 tiles from the player upon firing, making it slightly less effective at point-blank range - it’s also worth noting that an inability to land the Exalted Beams will severely hamper its DPS. However, combining the Exalted Beams with the sword itself gives you an all-purpose weapon with relatively safe range, AoE potential, utility capabilities, and DPS that rivals (and can sometimes surpass) even the Sword of the Colossus.

Make no mistake, this is a weapon befitting of the Mad God himself, and is quite possibly one of the strongest swords, if not one of the strongest weapons available in the game. As such, it should be used with good judgement, as it is a white bag drop from arguably the hardest boss in the game.
