Notes

A more DPS-centric armor that suffers from lessened DEF while giving a whopping +8 ATT and a sublime VIT boost, somewhat like a more extreme version of a Spectral Cloth Armor. The DEF boost from this armor can be compared to the T9 Drake Hide Armor, while the ATT boost is the highest of any armor (tied with the Hirejou Tenne, Mercy’s Bane, Toga Picta and Garment of the Beast) and is equal to that of a T5 Ring of Exalted Attack.

Compared to a T13 Hydra Skin Armor, the Garments give 3 less DEF and no DEX, but instead give 8 ATT and 7 VIT. This may be good in some situations where you know the boss may die fairly fast, because then your DEF is not a issue, and you may want to use it for the boost of your weapon, and for the fair boost in HP recovery.

Additionally, dagger classes tend to benefit more from ATT than from DEX, and can usually take the DEF loss due to their abilities.

It should be noted, however, that in terms of pure offensive power, the Hirejou Tenne provides an additional +8 DEX on top of the 8 ATT granted by both armors. As such, it could be seen as a superior alternative to the Garnments.
