This ring is essentially a much weaker version of Bracer of the Guardian with very little reason to wear it outside of completing the Legacy Twilight Archmage Set.

History:
This item used to be The Forgotten Ring until Patch X.31.8.0 when a new version of the Twlight Archmage Set was released with a soulbound The Forgotten Ring. At this time the Legacy ring was replaced as a drop by the new version.

Under its previous name this ring was first made available in Release 27.3.1 (Feb 2015) through The Alchemist and was later added as a drop from Ice Adept. It used to drop in a cyan bag before the addition of orange bags in Patch X.18.0 (Sep 2017).

The original stats of the item were a paltry +10 HP and +5 MP, which made it one of the weakest rings in the game, with stat bonuses even below those of tier 1 rings. The ring was buffed in Patch X.20.0 (Nov 2017) which gifted it the stat bonuses taken from the Ancient Spell: Pierce as part of a rebalance to the set.
