Magi-Generators are minions which periodically spawn in fixed locations during the boss fight with the Twilight Archmage in The Shatters.

Behavior

8 of these will be stationed around the Twilight Archmage. Throughout all of the Archmage’s phases, they constantly fire rings of blue waves around them that do no damage but inflict various status effects.

Before and during the Archmage’s first phase, they are invulnerable will fire targeted black balls that inflict huge damage and several status effects, but are rather slow. Once the Archmage summons his two birds, the Generators will retract into the ground and stop firing (although they will still use their radial shots)

During the Archmage’s last phase, they will all become vulnerable as the boss begins to consume them one by one to unleash enormous novae of shots. While the bottom row will remain dormant, the top row will go into “overdrive”, firing constant streams of black shots. It is imperative to avoid the streams lest you want a rapid death.

Tips and Strategies

When the Twilight Archmage spawns Blizzard and Inferno, the Magi-Generators will not attack, allowing you to move freely in the room when trying to avoid blizzard’s and inferno’s attacks.
