Chases players while firing shotguns of multicolored bells that follow arcing trajectories. The Jester will stop attacking to twirl its arm if attacked, “reflecting” projectiles fired at it in the form of blue blasts. If allowed to exit its reflecting stance (by not attacking it for a few seconds), it will end it by firing rings of Confusing stars that spin around their location of firing.
The Accursed variant behaves more aggressively and replaces the bell attack with rapid thrown AoE bombs which Confuse, but otherwise acts the same. When killed, it will turn into a cursed grave that will resurrect it after a period of time.
Only attack the Jester when you’re ready to put up with its storm of dangerous reflect blasts. However, also keep an eye on its Confusing projectiles.
Armor Piercing weapons do well against the Jester due to its very high DEF. Additionally, heavy-hitting but slow-firing weapons work well against it by minimizing the amount of attacks it reflects.
