The Nest Colony is an enemy that accompanies the Killer Bee Nest.

Several of these surround the Killer Bee Nest. They constantly fire radial bursts of differently-colored Hive Shots while tossing various bombs, and they frequently heal the Boss and all nearby Colonies for large amounts of health. They will occasionally fire multi-directional streams of colored orbs.
Every few seconds, they will flash red, turn invulnerable and spawn in a large number of assorted Nest Colony Guardians.
When destroyed, the Colony will explode into a massive nova of various Hive Shots.
