Notes
Compared to its successor-turned-predecessor, the Tablet of the King’s Avatar, the Penetrating Blast Spell shakes things up a little. It deals less damage than the high-tier spells - comparable to a T5 Magic Nova Spell - but has the ability to pierce its targets. However, unlike the old Tablet, it also benefits from an extremely low MP cost that allows it to be spammed. This makes it highly effective for clearing hordes of enemies.
Another thing to note is that the spell provides good stat bonuses - providing 2 ATT like the Recurring Terror Spell and uniquely providing the same HP bonus as a Burning Retribution Spell.
History
This spell was spawned by exploiters a few years ago, and was removed from the users’ inventories. However, the spell has since been reintroduced in the form of an untiered item dropping from the Secluded Thicket dungeon. Hence the odd description of the item saying, “This spell’s destructive power is so notorious that casting it was banned for many generations.”
Before Exalt Version 2.3.0.0 (Mar 2022), this item used to fire 20 shots dealing 60-90 damage each, and did not pass cover and circle the target.
