Tips:
To get the full effect of the Cutlass, it is recommended to bring a Shield of Ogmur, as this sword has a higher DPS than Acclaim against lower defense enemies. If you don’t have a Shield of Ogmur this is not the best sword, as it will only do more damage than Acclaim if the target has less than 14 Defense.
Cutlass can be used to “nullify” (not really but it feels like it) the Dex loss from Candy Coated Armour and is a bit more balanced with a Paladin, who has terrible dex but a damaging buff to “nullify” the lower damage.
Cutlass also can have uses in situations where the chances for dealing damage are way to quick for other swords, such as public Davys, where the boss’s vulnerable phases are known to end faster than a knight landing his stun when steamrolled, much less enough shots from slow firing weapons, regardless of the damage per shot.
