An interesting star that grants Slowed and Berserk instead of Speedy. While this makes the star less than useless for rushing, it shines during combat, as the Berserk buff works wonders with Ninja’s already impressive DPS. Despite initially seeming like a negative thing, the Slow can actually work in the Ninja’s favor - being able to slow yourself on command can be a godsend in fights where precise dodging is required, such as during bullet-hellish bosses like the Marble Colossus, Killer Bee Queen, and (coincidentally) the Crystal Entity. However, keep in mind that the star’s MP drain is twice as much as conventional stars, making sustaining its ability for a long time more difficult.
This item also has its uses for direct attack. Dealing the highest damage of any star and having a lower MP cost than the Doom Circle, it can be used for quick bursts of damage. However, note that it suffers from slightly lower range and a slower projectile speed than most other top-tiered stars.
