More akin to a Wakizashi than a Star, this ability releases a short-ranged burst of projectiles that strike a roughly inverted-V-shaped area in front of the user before returning backwards. It also has a 1/3 chance to boost ATT or DEX by 15, further increasing DPS for a few seconds.

While it deals far more total damage than any other star for a similar MP cost, this is misleading, as it is very difficult to land all of the shots. The close range on the ability also makes it so the player cannot use it to snipe foes like other stars, leaving its main use to do short-ranged burst damage to supplement the Ninja’s Katana - although the way the shots fire mean that some may miss enemies that are right in front of the user. The wider area of the shots and piercing also allows it to be used to wipe out hordes of weaker monsters.

However, it remains a highly effective ability for increasing DPS due to its high burst damage for a moderately low cost. While unreliable, its Killer Instinct ability has the potential to further boost Ninja’s already impressive offensive ability. If the player finds the need for a star suited for close-ranged fights, equip this item and watch the damage start piling up.
