Notes
The Cloak of Bloody Surprises is an incredibly rare ability item with a strong offensive focus, due to a +25 ATT grant coupled with an invisibility effect, allowing the bearer to deal massive damage while keeping concealed.

In comparison to the tiered cloaks, in particular the T6 Cloak of Ghostly Concealment and T7 Cloak of Nightmares, this cloak is inferior in the duration of the invisibility effect with a 1 second and 1.5 second difference respectively. However, considering the significant ATT buff this cloak provides, the invisibility trade-off is negligible in the wider picture of this cloak being used primarily for increasing damage output.

The cloak functions exceptionally well in the presence of Paladins, as the cloak’s ATT buff perfectly complements the Damaging effect, increasing the damage output by a magnitude.

Additionally, the Cloak of Bloody Surprises also synergizes very well with the Collector’s Monocle. The two ATT buffs (from both the cloak and the accessory) will stack up to a total of +37 ATK, greatly increasing DPS, albeit for a short duration.

Finally, the cloak is excellent for both solo and team use assuming that one know how to position oneself. However, it is to be noted that one will have to wait 1.5 seconds to cloak again due to the cooldown.

History
Before Patch X.26.0.0 (May 2018), This item used to grant the user with the Damaging effect, which was unfortunately rendered useless in the vicinity of a Paladin, due to the Paladin’s Damaging buff lasting longer than that of the cloak.
