Notes
Divinity’s actual sword is comparable to the Ancient Stone Sword, with an identical rate of fire and range, but lower average damage. Though, Divinity does pierce.

However, the Exalted Beams more than make up for it. They fire every second at the end of the sword’s range, hitting enemies for great armor-piercing damage within a 2.25 tile AOE (up to 6.25 tiles away). While boosted by ATK and Damaging, they are unaffected by DEX or Berserk. Assuming beams hit, this sword by and away deals more than any sword. Note that these beams are stuck to the end of the range, meaning that mobile targets are somewhat hard to hit.

Divinity is always better than the Sword of the Colossus and any tiered sword with no Berserk or Damaging buff. However with the Berserk and Damaging buff, it is beaten by the T14 Sword of Majesty until 13 defense, and Sword of the Colossus until 108 defense. These numbers get worse when you add exaltations and DEX boosting equipment into the picture.

In spite of its disadvantages, Divinity remains an exceptionally versatile and powerful sword in nearly all situations. No sword is better at killing groups thanks to Divinity’s piercing, AOE, and higher range. And even if other (top-tier) swords deal better damage, it really isn’t by much; the range helps make up for it. Even with Berserk, this sword can wreak havoc on enemies once its quirks are mastered.

The Exalted Beams are released on a server-side timer, meaning that all divinity beams are used at the same time. This makes it a good weapon for groups to instantly kill enemies that would otherwise have more phases.

Trivia
Divinity and the other pieces of the Exalted Knight set were the first items to give an 8% fame bonus, before the MotMG 2020 fame rework.
