Notes:
The trap inflicts curse while dealing significant damage, which makes it one of the strongest DPS traps. Keep in mind the small radius, which can make this trap weaker against larger or spread out groups of enemies.
Compared to the Cave Dweller Trap, this trap deals less damage, but curses and can hit multiple targets. Vile Spirit also has the advantage of high burst damage, whereas the Cave Dweller Trap deals damage over 5 seconds. If a boss goes invulnerable or moves out of range, then the Cave Dweller Trap becomes less practical.
This trap curses for a very short duration, which makes sustaining the curse impractical. As an alternative, you can stack several traps to take the most advantage of the curse.
